Client: IT MNC
Base Location: Chennai
Project Location: Mumbai (candidate will retrun back to base location after project is over, 6months-1yr timeframe)
Key Roles:
- Developing product/solution based on requirement
- To develop software that is efficient, re-usable, reliable
- Coding unit test, tracking problems, implementing changes
- Diagnosing, isolating and implementing changes which are cause by software errors.
- Provide input & technical content for technical documentation for user help material & training.
- Participate / suggest new design solutionsAbility to do root cause analysis and improve product quality
- Develop software that is efficient, re-usable, reliable
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Excellent Java and SQL skills
- Good knowledge of databases, preferably Oracle
- Exposure to Unix EnvironmentKnowledge and application of design concepts like OOAD, Design Patterns, Data Modeling
- Debugging & Profiling – Application monitoring, memory profiling
- Good oral and written communication skillsGood interpersonal skills
Good to Have:
- Experience in Agile/Lean development environments
- Experience in engineering practices like TDD, ATDD
- Unix scripting experience
- Experience in PL/SQL , C++
